  • Lots of citrus and a touch of tar. Very acidic. Out of balance. Not terrible but not so good.

  • I liked it better the first time around. Maybe this bottle is past it's time, but it was a little too punky and sour for me. Leave this one at the store. There are much better options at this price point.
The wine looks Onion-skin colored. It smells like and Acetic Acid. It tastes like and Alcohol/Hot.

  • Nice and crisp. Light bodied. Very comparable to Kim Crawford offering. Great value.

  • Classic NZ SB - grapefruit, lime, bright acidity. Bonus is that it stays fresh in the fridge for days.

  • Crazy light and clear in color. I poured it into a stemless tumbler and set it on my white kitchen counter. From a few yards away I doubt you could have told me if the glass was empty or not.

Nice nose, which is basically a prerequisite of Marlborough SB at this point. Palate is less exuberant than many Marlborough SB's, which may be a positive or a negative depending on your palate. It isn't a grapefruit bomb, far from it. Kind of restrained for Marlborough SB. Lean and clean, the citrus flavor is heavily lemon/lime. Crisp, tart acidity and a light body make this a very thirst quenching wine. It is incredibly easy drinking, you'll be half done with the bottle before you have any idea.

Not complex or memorable, but a nice crisp white.

12.5 ABV. Produced by Rossendale Wines.
