  Little black pepper, some licorice, but mostly a smokey, BBQ and lots of wood. Black cherry, casis, blackberries. Definitely fruit forward, not huge on the palate. Medium to full body, most of the action takes place on the front half of the palate. Tannins are mellowing after 30 minutes. Drinks more like a zin from young vines. Really starting to smooth out as it rests.
