Ruby, tending towards garnet. Very good clarity / transparency. Raspberries. Cinnamon. Nutmeg. Fresh. Fine, yet nicely framed tannins. Lovely ripe fruit power. Very long. Smoke (especially in back palate). Very faint sous bois, but still quite a lot of fruit power in front.
This tastes a lot younger than 14 years to me. Much more raspberry than the strawberry I tasted last time. Hasn't evolved much to my mind. This is in a very good place though.

Reddish-brown. Nose getting pretty secondary now. Pretty interesting. On the palate, sweet red fruits in background - strawberry and cranberry especially. Some raspberry. Light herb notes of herbs de Provence and light, well integrated spice, black tea and a very light 'meatiness'. Medium mouthfeel - good weight. Really good length and persistence - nice to sit and think for a while after a sip. Still quite rounded with some plushness. There is a good tannin support structure there still, so I think this will develop a bit more and gain even more secondary character.

Great village wine. Vintage showing its colors with good amount of fruit showing. The Vosnee character coming through. Tannins still in the forefront. Next bottle in a few years.

Bit closed down but very savory in character. Herbs de provence, some mint and meat. Backdrop of red berries. Good acidity and tannins. Liked the complexity. On the nose still closed down with also a savory character. Did not help we drank it in some tiny glassses.

[London Experimental Oenology Seminar] - Tasted blind. My favourite of the evening, the only 2009 (other 5 red Burgundies were 2008).
