  This is the second bottle I have had and there are a few hints of a really nice wine, soft yet fruity, nice balance between sweetness and dry for the body. But it has this metallic flavor through most of the palate that is, to me, quite distracting; its not a bad flavor but it is just not right for the wine. Its like putting a freshly cleaned silver spoon in your mouth. The finish is ok with some light smooth tannin.
  For the price of about $17, there are MANY better Merlots available.

  Smells of grilled peppers and squash, tastes of some plum and tannins; medium finish and a little bit hot. Acceptable table wine.
