  • I don’t have time for aeration. But this bottle has potential for aging and need bottle devant.

White pepper, spice, red fruit, earth, mineral.
    High acidity and good tanning.
Palate is concentrated and deep. But not mouth coating (maybe need more time?)
Very little sweetness compare to other SC.

  • On the nose this beautiful fresh and sweet pomegranate note that the Orveaux 2010 also displayed to some similar extent that night. The palate is pure silk, beautiful measured acidity, just so well judged. Long and deep pinot fruit. For me clearly the WOTN. This should be sensational in 10 years. Again confirming the 2010 is THE vintage for recent great vintages in Burgundy. Seems to just be coming out on top in larger tastings again and again.

  • Transparent garnet-ruby. Ripe raspberry fruit, clove and cardamom, toasted cedar and sea buckthorn comprise a floral-herbal-spicy-fruity concoction that is deliciously appetizing. Lemon-lime acid refreshes and highlights the fruit, which is carried by wonderfully silky tannin. This wine is a breathtaking beauty with superb finesse, elegance, balance and timelessness. Although already offering marvellous drinking pleasure, this wine is still vibrant and youthful and will continue to improve. It is in the end, the timelessness of this wine that sets me in awe. It is superb now, it will change but remain extraordinary for many years.

  • Klar, dyp, rød med innslag av lilla. Nydelig, dyp, elegant og forførende nese med blå bær iblandet røde. Sublimt eiket.
Dyp, fokusert og klokkeklar frukt. Intens, men fløyelsmyk. Innsmigrende fruktsødme. Frisk, presis syre. Fløyelstanniner i utgang med toner av dyp, mørk frukt. Super lengde. Eleganse! Ung, men drikker flott med luft.
