Still not very good and somewhat sour after more than 10 years in the cellar. Decanted and aerated the sh*t out of it and that did not make much difference. Would not be even be all that drinkable unaccompanied by food (pasta with red sauce).

This is really nice stuff when it opens up. Distinctly pinot noir, but with an Italian old-world earthiness to it. No rush to drink this, as it seems like it will continue to improve.

From a half bottle
Popped and poured
Somewhat reticent nose but good depth on the palate with dark cherry and some spiciness
Lacks the breadth to be a really great wine but quite adequate as a simple quaffing wine especially with salumi
