  • Tasted at a restaurant. Beautiful pure red berry fruit of raspberry and sour cherry along with dried and confit plum. Fine layers of smoke and spice. Aromatically I would place this in the bucket of more concentrated Burgs with a darker fruit profile. Fresh palate with good tension, but still quite rough around the edges. Didn’t decant, but would go for 30-60min or keep cellaring for 3+ years.

  • Medium bodied at most. There’s a reticent mix of red and dark fruits, but it’s rather more savoury in its expression. Mineral, elegant and restrained. Finishes short though. It’s drinking well now. But expected more complexity at this level?
