  Light and delicate, balanced and put together. Long finish with heavier fruit. Destroyed the OR pinots of the last two nights.

  Nose offered taut cherry, a hint of spice. Classic Burgundy red fruit, forest nuances, and cherry pit again. An easy drinking bottle with supple mouthfeel and moderate weight, this was fully mature and no expected development. A picture of modesty.

  A bit tight on opening, decanted one hour. Marked improvement with air, tart cherry, black cherry, hints of plum, earth underneath. Tartness resolves to a balanced acid spine to go with the fruit. Mineral/earth notes show a bit more over hour or two with and after dinner as wine gained depth and length on palate. Enjoyable.

  Double decanted, last glass on day two was the best. Picks up more weight with air. Has plenty of life ahead.
