Had at Keg. Showing beautifully..colour deep garnet…generous aromatics and that Gevrey bloody iron flavours complex with smooth tannins giving 20+ seconds length.

Opened at dinner with the GrapeNuts. Cork was broken and crumbling due to amateur server who bent the cork, but I managed to recover it all.
Garnet hue, nose was cool dark fruit and palate was a mix of ripe black fruits and low notes of iron tapering to a length of 10+ seconds. Solid masculine Gevrey style.

Medium ruby color. Nose of dark berry fruit, herbs, and mint tinged with vanilla bean and sous bois. Fleshy red fruit on the palate with pleasing minerality, balanced acidity, soft tannin, and only 13% alcohol. This is a relative bargain in Burgundy for such a high quality bottling and a nice transition for fans of California Pinot. $75.

Stunning Gevrey village. Hard to believe that you can find a much better example.
