Had this side-by-side with the 2008 of the same wine. Strikingly similar in all aspects. Clearly a family resemblance. The 2008 was just a bit crisper with more forward acid. The 2010 was more even-keeled...perhaps a bit more knitted together at this stage. But both wines displayed ample crunchy red fruit, nice spice, and were ready to be enjoyed. Fun to try these together.

Another 2010 drinking with seamlessness and energy. This has the hallmarks of Chambolle made by a Vosne producer, with more spice then you might expect from Chambolle.

Sunday hangout (socially distanced) (Chicago, IL): Served double blind. Red Burgundy, obviously, and the gentle red fruit did have me thinking Chambolle. This does have a little bit of a spicy quality to it, though that is probably more of a house style thing. Slightly more mature than I would have expected; I was thinking of going to 2002 for this.

Developing quite well after 2hrs of opening. Typical nose of CM, yet palate is rather strong, with alcohol and some ripe fruits emerging in mid palate. Medium finish.
