Somewhat improved from 2-1/2 years ago. Bottle disgorged on 7/16/13. Comprised of 2/3 Chardonnay and 1/3 Pinot Meunière, without malolactic fermentation. The nose is dominated by yeasty dough, with lemon and pineapple in the background. Not terribly complex and seems slightly "sweet" at mid-palate, probably due to due to the non malo. However, as the wine transitions to the finish, there is a very pleasing, slightly tart, very long finish. Not nearly as good as this producer's Blanc de Blanc, but for less than $30, it's a great value.

Immediately yeasty, almost doughy to the nose. Complex aroma develops quickly. Mild taste with medium acidity and even a hint of sweetness, even if this is an Extra Brut. Good mousse, lengthy finish. Pairs easily with a wide range of foods.

Dry yet Full of notions of nuts, apple and pear, with toasty nose and some stone on the finish - mixed with fruit. A lengthy finish. Crisp and easy to drink.

Not as rich or as complex as I anticipated given all Cramant Grand Cru fruit. Seemingly not very much time on lees and/or absence of Reserve wines. Finish is Tasted over 2 days.

Hard to judge...served too warm for William's graduation and couldn't really focus...much better on open bottle next night that had been chilled
