  A friend brought this bottle to the dinner party. It's not what I usually drink, but there we go. No detailed notes, but the nose was quite fragrant from first opening. The taste at the start was quite dry for a Napa and had quite some presence on the mid-palate. In fact, it was fairly enjoyable at the start. However, an hour or so later into the evening, we revisited this one. It was going downhill quite fast and was revealing signs of its age - very likely in its last year. Probably it was quite a nice wine when it was in its prime. It would be interesting to try a younger vintage.
