  Deep garnet red with aromas of cherry and orange. The cherry carries over in the flavor along with nutmeg and a hint of sage. Light and crisp with soft tannins, good balance and complexity, this is a well-structured wine.

  Quite nice. When first opened, a little earthy to go with the fruit notes, as the wine breathes, the fruit takes over and you get tart cherry with a backbone of cinnamon spice (interestingly!). Good weight -- not too heavy, not wimpy-light -- with decent balance. The finish isn't terribly long, but it's not short either.
  
  Drink on the short term; this'll be good for the next 4-ish years.
