Tasted over 2 hrs -dark red purple no bricking -subdued ripe blue-black fruit -med/med- acidity, med+/full weight lush fruit that has faded some into the earthy background with little dash of spice cake and faint heat, med- tannins -best bottle from a batch I've been sampling for 10 years, drinking very well now in full maturity though not tired at all, such a lovely vintage for the Southern Rhône generally and for this wine specifically

Paired with a 2009 Aphillanthes Rasteau. The 2009 was fruitier and more forward. The 2010 had better structure and was more tightly integrated. Both were delicious wines.

Wine finished. Last three bottles increasingly bitter, sediment filled.

Not exceptional and not going to improve. Tanins are strong, no sign of decline.
