Decanted for 90 minutes before first taste. Deep cherry on nose and palate. Very long finish. Another hour brought additional depth and more richness of fruit notes.

Slow decant for 2-3 hours. Deep and dark flavors. Maybe a little anise, but black fruit too. Nice finish. Fine grained sediment at the end. Drinking well right now.

Out of all the Girard single vineyard cabs, this one's got the best nose. Great potential to taste even better in a few years. Gave it a 93 since I rank it above Mt. Veeder's 92 but below Atlas Peak's 94. In a few years it would not surprise me if it ends up with the top score and becomes the flagship of all the Girard cabs.

Decanted for an hour. Still excellent with rich cherry fruit. Good depth and the cherry lingers during the long smooth finish.
