  • At Lords, 1st Test vs Sri Lanka. Bright medium straw yellow. Intense nose, lots of creamy oak, but quite well integrated with underlying stone fruit, floral and spicy hints. Quite full bodied on the palate with reasonably well concentrated stone fruits, some tropical fruit hints, creamy oak and reasonable (medium/medium+) balancing acidity. Perhaps a bit heavy, but a decent drink which went down quite well without food.

  • Medium straw yellow, some gold tints.
Medium intense, youthful nose with stone fruit, floral hints and creamy oak.
A medium + bodied wine with medium acidity and reasonable depth of stone fruits with nicely integrated oak and just a hint of minerality on a medium + length finish, with lingering nectarine notes.
Relatively straight-forward but attractive burgundy, drinking well now, should hold for 12-18 months.

  • Pale/medium lemon. Medium/Medium + intense, some development, attractive with well integrated creamy oak, ripe stone fruit, some tropical notes and floral hints. On the palate this has good weight and an almost creamy texture, good concentration with nectarine, creamy oak, floral hints and even some pineapple. A very good length finish with good (medium/medium +) acidity for the vintage.
In summary a very good well priced (£15) white burgundy, drinking well now and may hold for a further 1-2 years.
