  • Light yellow lemon color with a green tinge. Pure crystalline lemon fruit on the nose and palate. Slightly creamy and amazingly pure with awesome minerality on the finish. Lively and my style of Chardonnay.

  • 2 bottles consumed. 1st bottle was quite youthful; light pale yellow with a green tinge. Bright floral, mint and stone aromas. Palate was crisp and like licking a wet stone laced with a thin layer of vanilla. Wonderful.

2nd bottle however showed signs of early oxidation in color, and on both the nose and palate. Drinkable but not up to par and an unfortunate reminder that Burgundy and a couple of the larger negociants in particular either still haven't figured out this problem or just plain don't give a shit.

Opened a third bottle one night later. This is turning into a Goldielocks tale. This bottle was somewhere between the previous two; certainly not as fresh, bright and lively a the first and not showing obvious signs of premox but the nose was almost completely muted, the color was not like the first but pale and had a bit of that amber hue and the palate gave a finishing taste of sliced apple left out on the counter all day. Crisper than the second bottle but clearly starting to turn. Oh Jadot, why do you do this to me?!

  • PnP. Golden straw color. Floral and stone notes on nose. Plums and apricots, a little honey and floral notes with some nice salinity/minerality on the finish. Punching way above its weight; excellent wine. Fully mature; drink now or over the next couple of years.
