Much better than my previous bottle. Silky smooth and buttery with a bit of Chard bite on the end. It fills the whole mouth and gives a long glycerin-like feel to the finish that the touch of bite on the end adds a nice freshness to.. This should drink well for several more years

Lovely golden with butter and oak nose. It began with a touch of funky earth flavor but that cleared up and went away very quickly. With time the fruit, butter and oak predominated in a very nice balance. By the last glass it was still improving....need to aerate the next bottle.

For those lucky enough to be holding a well-cellared bottle of this wine, I can only say...enjoy! Medium-to-deep golden and very complex, it struts aromas and flavors of honeysuckle, citrus peel, butterscotch, apple pie and baking spice. Full-bodied, almost unctuous, it is a lush, mouthfilling combination of creamy structure and vibrant acidity (which hides its 14.0% alcohol well). Solid in the middle, it concludes with a long, crisp finish. Few will ever experience a Napa Valley Chardonnay with this type of age-worthiness. In years past (and now), Hanzell and Stony Hill could rival this bottling...but even those fine producers would be pressed to outdo it. Drink now-2018.

I loved well aged Chard and this one has done just fine. Deep and rich.
