Pop and pour; must, olde barrel on the nose.. Glides across the palette with an aged, satin-like feeling. Mature dark fruit is just a bit beyond being in its perfect balance, but still nicely structured. As the missus says, “Quite Yummy...”. The last bottle drunk in the nick of time.

Decanted and given ~30 mins before following over 2 hours. Ink/Black coloring, pepper, green pepper, vanilla and dark fruit on the nose. This is in an ideal place at present; nice grip on the glass and palate, but the ripe black fruits show off some pleasant age. Fine dustiness back-palate, this is a Cab Franc that drinks like an aged Foley-merlot. At its peak but still good for another 1-2 years.

About a year since I last visited this wine, and its doing just fine. Fruit and tannins are well-resolved yielding a very smooth wine that is in or near its ideal window. Cedar, tobacco, plum, spice box are most prominent flavors; hint of vanilla and toasted oak on the finish. In a nice place with little air time required.

Outstanding cab franc that we enjoyed on New Year's Eve. Beautiful l nose with medium body that tasted perfect from appetizer through first course. Highly recommend!

Allowed to breathe in-bottle for an hour. Purlple-ink color, medium light viscousity with blueberry, pepper, cedar on the nose. Fine-grained tannins coat the tongue, allowing the ripe fruit flavors to linger for 20+ seconds. Black plum, black cherry and light blueberry. Really a solid CF.
