  10 years after Riesling tasting - 2010 (Restaurant Holz und Feuer, Kirchheim, Germany): *** brief impression from tasting event, no detailed tasting note ***
  Glass: Gabriel Standard and Sophienwald Bordeaux
  Bottle opened at noon, double decanted. Drunk about 8-10h later.
  Clear, medium golden. Nose with herbs and botrytis. Acidity is unbalanced, dropsy. Sweet-sour notes. Botrytis. Good length. Not flawed, but this bottle was certainly not really GG worthy. 88-89

  Viel Säure und viel Botrytis spricht laut Daniel Kiowski für den Jahrgang 2010. Wieder was gelernt. Mir zu breit und zuviel Honignoten. Geringe Fruchtaromen, etwas gelbe reife Steinfrüchte wie Marille und Pfirsich. 91

  For the vintage typically a lot of acidity, missing the fruit, not precise enough, maybe the acidity is dominating the fruit, 92

  Braucht noch viel Luft um sich zu öffnen. Kühl und straff, leichte Kräuteraromatik mit feingliedriger Struktur und sehr guter Länge. Große Zukunft!
