  • Good mineral attack alongside citrus, yellow fruit, custard and crushed rock. Palate had very good tension with excellent balance between fruit and acidity. 92+

  • Pale to mid straw. Absolutely singing. Stone fruit, grippy minerality and tension galore. An initial mid palate ripeness gives way to tension and mineral grip, with air. Equisite line and cut. Goes on and on. Last of the case, al of which have been excellent, but it’s gone out on a high. Just what one wants in a top Puligny. *****

  • Pale straw, green tinged. Vibrant and zesty with plenty of lime cut. Lightly floral with hints of white fruit, but this feels a little tighter and leaner than previous bottles. Fills out as it warms, with a touch of vanilla spice coming through. Even by Puligny standards this is at the classical, elegant end of the spectrum. Vibrant, minerally and long. ****1/2

  • From 75cl, perfect cork, opened but not decanted 1 hour. Hints of struck match, oak and chalk on the restrained nose. The palate is a revelation: supple ultra-ripe lime fruit, bright acidity, chalky minerality and an architectural relationship between the sheer weight of concentration and the lightness of superb "mineral" structure. On the very long finish, a hint of grapefruit acidity/oil numbness on the tongue. Brilliant now, surely a decade in store, but why wait? And for that matter, why buy any other white wine at this price point when this is so exquisite? 94P.

  • Very classic. This continues to go from strength to strength. Vibrant, mineral, long. Really lovely combination of power, depth and elegance. Long with a good lime cut on the finish. Superb. *****
