  • Young dark ruby colour, no signs of age. Spices, oak, smoky, red fruit bouqet. Very smooth texture, cherries, spicey, complex medium long finish. Ripe now, more on the Pinot side, the Sangiovese adds a nice acidity and some tannic backbone. Really good for a red from a white wine region. Somehow odd to drink Sangiovese from Austria but it really fits well - surprising.
