Nose: Fresh air (almost saline air) with flowers, lavender, and forest floor. Very cool nose. Palate: Linear with bright acids, red and dark fruits, and a light to medium finish. Great food wine that went very well with leftover porterhouse and ribeye. A very well done effort from SW France and a nice contrast to the jammier Malbec efforts from Argentina. If this is reflective of Cahors I will have to seek out more wines from this appellation.

Dark rasiny fruit but with a core and drive of acidity. Delicious to drink.
