  • Quite fruity, red & black fruits but little or no cassis. Fruity in the classic way rather than a modern fruitbomb. A little drying on the finish. Needs food.
    ... Opens up quite well after an hour or so and much better with food (ham gratin). Good fruit. I can see this going very well steak.
    ... Even better two days later (stored 375ml bottle in fridge) - nice, plummy fruit, tannins seemed less harsh.
    This could probably do with a few more years to open it up.

  • Nice aromas of cherry, black fruits and a little pepper. The palate is too dry though, I think this is probably slightly passed it's best. Some sweetness does come through eventually but there is lots of wood & bramble that overpower the fruit.
