Deep ruby color, nice long slow legs. bright cherry and other red berries, alittle spice and cola, reminds me more of a Cali pinot than Burgundy. Similar on the palate but with a more burgundian earthiness, clean acid and tight tannins.
served with Chestnut crusted Alaskan Salmon and Havarti Risotto.

Found this in the recesses of the cellar. Definitely was over the hill, although there were still some enjoyable notes to it.

mature, earthy, dark cherries notes of sous bois, a bit meaty, good acids still, very very enjoyable !

In a really nice place. Some sous bois framed by heady red fruits. Resolving nicely, with some firm, fine tannins still present on the finish. Solid.
