Dark but clear purple/black, with some tawny edging. Nose of liquorice and very mature woodland fruit. Smooth; tannins like a lace curtain, still twitching gently with a touch of acidity. Very good, but only just on the right side of decay. Cork. 13%.
Still drinking nicely! Has fruit, especially up front, and good structure. Softens quickly, but pleasantly so. Matched well with grilled lamb with Herbes de Provence. Drink soon; you won't be disappointed.

Superb. Wonderful notes of iron and died blood. Savoury and soulful.

Classic aged Crozes Hermitage but drink up soon as it won't last too much longer. Round and perfectly balanced and excellent with duck breast.
