Honey on the nose, almost expect a sweet wine when you smell it. High acid, slightly out of balance, toasted honey comb well into the finish, a hint of citrus and soft subtle tannin.

This was the 3rd bottle from the same producer on the dinner table, and what a delight it was. Such a clarity and transparency of fruit and juice on the one side and complexity on the other. Balanced, pure pleasure for drinking now.

Clear blue-green hue to it. Very clean and clear looking, though the light doesn't dance around the way it does for some other 1er cru's and grand cru's. Nose and palate are fairly similar, grapefruit, flint, wet stone. Some herbal warmth coming from the oak which reminds me a bit of a pinot blanc. Clean, Lengthy finish. Pretty good considering the price.

Very nice. Green fruit on the nose. Somewhat full bodied. Fresh and flavorful.
