(WineGate) Clear, mid to dark ruby color. Clean nose of medium intensity showing mostly ripe currants and berries, rosemary (?) with hints of alcohol tickling the nose and a iodine-like note that wasn't offensive. Youthful Dry in the palate with medium body, medium intensity, medium + alcohol (14%), medium+ acidity, velvery and round medium+ tannins, sweet flavors of ripe black berries and cherries, nutmeg and cinnamon, ends with a medium finish. Very good wine due to quality/ mid price. Better to drink now than later

Nice wine that did not show any sign of fatigue or oxidation 5 days after it had been uncorked. Dark ruby color. Nice nose of plums and dark berries alongside sweet spices and the tell-tale South African earthy/rubbery/meaty element which was mostly obvious on the aftertaste but gradually vanishing as the days passed, without ever being unpleasent. Medium-bodied with round tannins and balancing acidity. Good everyday wine and a very good value.
