Nice value bourgogne here. Nice mineral and sea shell followed by citrus fruits and pith, a little grassy and a touch of sweet. Tart and tangy on the palate with the same touch of sweetness. Amazing pairing with copper river salmon.

You know, this was really nice. Not quite Chablis, but that may just be the vintage showing its more rounded side. Lemon curd, almost yeasty, and a bit mineral. Good complexity for the price--rounder and maybe better on day 2. Great find.

Jura Wines at Weygandt (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): This is a treat, especially at $18. Peter Weygandt imports this wine from limestones soils north of Chablis. Intense aromas of limestone and minerals. The palate is tangy with acid. Medium bodied, light but not thin. Very steely and pretty, and an excellent bargain. It could outdo some Chablis at three times its price.
