  Despite an initial bandaid note, that disappeared quickly to reveal a fantastic wine. Nice musky nose. Big chalky fruity well-balanced- just a wonderful wine. Probably need to drink relatively soon.

  Day 2 has mellowed this wine very well. The fruit might have taken a very small step backward but now it is a rounded mouth filling wine without a bitter finish. Sure it's not complex, but the only negative is a feeling of heat on the finish. At 14.7% alcohol I would expect that.
  
  One day had moved this from a mid to upper 80s wine. I have another that I will save for a couple years.

  Nowhere near ready, but showing hints of its future glory. I really wish I could have stored these for 5-7 years, but I just didn't have the space. Please, don't make the same mistake. What could be a special wine in its time is just tannins and acid right now.
