Drank at Betty's B-day. This wine is coming into it's prime, balanced, great chocolate notes complex fruit. Peter Kerr said it was exquisite and says this wine will peak in one year and enjoy several years of maintaining that peak after that.

This wine has become ballanced as the oak has intergrated much more with the fruit. It is also showing signs of bottle aged complexity with some green earthy notes on the finish. Overall this wine is entering it's drinking window IMO.

Drank at a Cabernet Franc tasting at Anne and Matthew's. This is a big wine, drinks more like a Napa cab than a Bordeaux style red... but does have more subtlety than the big boy cabs. Nice fruit, dark cherry, currant, chocolate up front. Lots of structure / tannins on the long finish. Still a little tight, this wine should age well, but drinkable now also. Good find and still available. I will lay down the other 5 bottles for at least a year.
