Now some three+ years after release, this wine remains a pellucid straw color and still has bright acidity. More citrus-fruity than mineral or herbal, the "green" and grassy notes have apparently mellowed with additional evolution in bottle. (I didn't taste it earlier and can't claim to compare by memory.) Excellent everyday table wine.

Pungent, in true Sauvignon Blanc fasion. Tight, concentrated, greenish, and possibly a bit underripe; tastes of freshly mowed weeds and light underbrush dominate. Good acid, weighty, no notable complexity.

Probably a little light on the nose and too grassy for my palate. Has a slight unripeness to the taste. Not a disaster, and some people probably prefer this style. Reminds me more of a Cotes de Gascon than a California Sauvignon Blanc. There is plenty to like. The color is pure golden. The aroma from the nose is not exactly fruit, but more fresh broken tree root or maybe beechnut. The fruit is very much influenced by the overall acidity making it very crisp and kind of green. The flavor dies pretty quick on the slightly bitter finish.
