  Surprisingly pale ruby colour - almosty Pinot Noir like transluscence. Nose of cranberry and later a menthol note too. Palate a bit dry on opening. improves over an hour or so to fill out. Quite a spicy kick in the finish. After arounf 3 hours, this seems to be fading: now a drying finish. Fine, but not my best experience with this. An awkward bottle?
