Shy dark fruit, salty licorice, coffee, a touch of smoke. Concentrated, very “dark” impression. Would have liked more fruit and less oak. Hard to tell where this is going. Below expectations.

This wine had gone very bad. I don’t think it had anything to do with the wine being too young and the cork was not dry. It probably wasn’t stored well before I received it as a gift. What a disappointment.
