Very dark magenta with ruby highlights. Spice, earth, and cherry cola nose. Medium to full bodied, blueberries, bing cherries, thick tannins, chocolate, smoke, and a medium to long finish. Tasty and well made. Best on day 2.

All wrapped up in a complete package, this QPR Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre blend packs a nice punch. Even more lovely with another year in bottle. I only wish I had more!

Nice nose of cocoa, cherries spice. Flavors carry through to palate, which is medium to light. Not overly complex or weighty wine but a very good drinker. Drink or hold.

Blueberry, raspberry and chocolate on the nose. Flavors of raspberry, strawberry jam, blackberry, espresso, bitter dark chocolate, pepper, charcoal and stone. Grippy tannins seemed to indicate it's got a lot of life left in it. It was good right off the bat, but improved considerably when aerated and after the bottle had been open for a couple of hours.

Took an hour or so to open fully. Great nose, blackberries, cranberries and ash. Smells great. Really nice red and dark fruit early, turning tart in the transition into the finish. Low-medium weight despite the higher alcohol content. Some earthy/stony flavors show in the finish, reminding me of blacktop. Nice wine, great complexity and build at this price point.
