Eat with a flourless chocolate cake at a wine tasting group dinner a decided hit with the group and didn't last long. Rich mouth feel with just enough sweetness

I didn't make a note of this as it was late in the evening. However, this was slightly underwhelming in terms of intensity, although I did appreciate that the fruit doesn't show too ripe.

A French Bistot dinner in … London (Bouchon Racine , London): It’s been 8 years since we tried this first ( Papies 92) and continues its evolution and it’s as beautiful now as then. Nice evolution but still on the fresh side and this looks like it would outlive most of us. Good rich, apricot, soft honey, bright wine , very welcoming and very elegant. Very pretty wine and shame this came at the end of a long wine flight . Still did its magic and for that we salute it. 92-93

Served with dessert at Confrerie event. (Second time I've had this wine). Unbelievably fresh, delicious, light-on-its-feet Barsac with complexity, depth, killer finish. (Drank my spouse's wine when not being watched).

Heady nose, lots of spicy botrytis, great freshness and a vaporous quality – very intense and unctuous. Notes of crème brulee, brilliant freshness and perceived acidity, notes of lemongrass and obvious barley sugar and honey.
Very full and rich, and notably intense. this is fat and has a delicately spicy frame, lots more barley sugar, baked sugar… ginger… golden honey. Big. complex. Wow stuff, really. And i don't usually get Sauternes.

Verry deep gold, touches of orange.
