Slightly mature for a top notch 2010, this has as much earth as red cherry with woodsy spice, forest flooor and fading summer flowers in the near background. Good now.

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Elegant red cherry and berry on nose and palate. Very good balance, good weight with intriguing nuance notes that I truly enjoyed. I think this will evolve into something even more interesting. 90-91 points.

Great color. The nose is a bit solid; showing dense aromas of dark raspberries, flowers, spice, damp earth and a hint of tea. This is medium full bodied on the palate with excellent concentration and good finesse. The long finish features ripe tannins.

La Paulee de NY - Verticals Tasting (Rainbow Room - NYC): Tasted at large walkaround tasting. still incredibly youthful. quite a bit there. nice floral notes, raspberry. well integrated oak and acid. really nice and still needs a long time.

Domaine Clos de la Chapelle Dinner (Cafe Boulud - New York NY): In 17/16/15/10 vertical. A wine I have enjoyed several times in the past, tonight's bottle (directly from the domaine) seemed slightly too dirty.
