  • Cherries, floral and licorice in the nose. Deep fruit, black raspberries and black cherries in the flavor with hints of licorice and some minerality. Well balanced, nice complexity and medium to long finish.

  • Popped and poured. Out of the box overt floral nose and the wine is ripe but also balanced. Medium to full bodied. Ripe raspberry, cherry, tea and spice. Im glad I drank this after giving it some time to age and settle down. I think it might have felt a bit overdone in its youth. Can continue to age for another five years

  • Opened nice, incense, roses and violets, vanilla, cola, beautiful nose and nice weight. See how this evolves. Nice complexity for ten plus years. Well made and meticulous winemaking.
*2nd night aroma more intense and drinking beautifully. Getting roses on the palette once again. A lot of nice/pleasant complexity going on.
*3rd night singing even better..wow. Very nice. Fruit is tasting like aged concentrated strawberries, some melon notes. Becoming more complex. Nose is very fragrant. So much complexity, not sure what they are but pleasant, agreeable volatiles. I notice that is a characteristic of the best wines I class next to the 100 mark. So far great, and I’ll probably rescore.
*5th night lead pencil shaving (deep, intense, precise) has become very pronounced with the remaining fruit, very nice to finish the bottle. Great bottle at a very great spot.

  • I wish I could add to the comments below but I agree with them wholeheartedly. We did a p n p and the wine performed beautifully. Not sure it will improve over time but it still seems vibrant and should remain wonderful for a number of years.

  • Dark reddish purple, no browning. Aroma of plum, light vanillin, and wet gravel. Flavors of red plum and black cherry, acidity is balanced by brown sugar and soft tannins. Finishes with a slightly savory spiciness with gravelly minerality. Needs a couple hours decant. Elegant, structured, with great lengthy finish. Could still go for several years.
