Dark red with a clear rim, nose is spice and dark fruit. Pepper, earth, and fruit on the palette. Bone dry with a grip. Love this style of wine. Perfect pairing with liver and onions, kale salad on the side.

Peppery! Somewhat lighter than the smell would have you expect, but decently complex and well structured. Oaky. Moderately dry. Tannins medium and lingering. Noticable browning, indicative of the grenache. Well blended, but with a raw, rustic edge. I like it. At its price point this is a GREAT value. I found it for $10.

Nice spice on the nose, soft but long lasting tannins, prune, blackberry with hint of cinnamon and licorice. Southern Rhone wines are fast becoming my fave.

First bottle I bought was flawed: no fruit at all. 2 weeks later purchased a second bottle from the same store. Either 2 flawed bottles in a row or my expectations were too high based on Cellar Tracker and professional reviews. The 2nd bottle was OK, but not like described by the above mentioned reviews.

Drink now. Well made and an extremely well balanced example of a Southern Rhone.
