Many of the wine-makers make their wine into modern style but lacking of the original taste. This 2008 Quest let me know what a textbook Cab-blend should have. Bottle breath two hours. Great nose with earth, blackfruits and hint of oak. On palate, there are massive green bell pepper, chinese herbs like peppercorn (花椒) and star annis (八角), and dark fruits with hints of spicy finish. Very smooth and silky. Wonderful!

Deep ruby followed by an oppulent nose delivering cedar and earthy minerality over black fruit and spice. Ripe but not jammy with high quality oak. Savoury with fine grained soft tannins, refreshing acidity and medium full body. Well balanced generous alcohol, high extract and moderately concentrated palate. Fairly long finish. RTD but could keep over the next 5 years. Bdx blend with no Merlot in it.

This is an amazing wine. Very spicy and agressive, but also excellent balance. Just a fantastic Bourdeaux blend. Buy it, if you get the chance. I love the fact that I have two bottles left.
