  On the ropes but not out yet... quite brown and flavors have faded, but still enough there to enjoy. A grand old gal still providing pleasure after 50 years!

  Lovely old and perfumed left bank/Margaux aromas. Light on the palate, with rather low concentration. The nose was best. On its way down.

  A wonderful, mature Bordeaux that while past its prime shows lovely mature fruit and a weight that just screams good wine. The nose is the best feature today - sweet cassis and cigar. A lovely wine that should be drunk very soon…still offering a lot of pleasure. (91)
