  Wildly exceeded my expectations. Light on the fruit but really well balanced. Lots of undertones of earth, blue berry, leather and hints of cherry. Really smooth but still vibrant at the initial taste. Wish I had more.

  judgement of sweden - wines from oregon and washington state (Operaterassen, Stockholm): darker nose than the elisabeth's reserve but also much more soft expression. modern style new world pinot.

  Northern Willamette Valley: Smells like bug repellent. Soft aromas otherwise. The palate is also quite soft and tart, and pretty lean. Really wish there was more body here. Puckering and lean finish... really not much to this wine this vintage. Likely will open up a bit years down the road.
