David Bowler Spring 2008 "Rudipalooza" Wine Tasting (New York City): Light ruby color. Candied cherries and a touch of funk on the nose, but falls a bit flat on the palate.
Spatburgunder at The Wine Country (The Wine Country, Signal Hill, CA): Nice "red" nose. Thin yet clean red fruit with good purity. Little extraction. Nice balance. Overall soft and simple but good.
