A leaner profile. Touch stemmy, but dusty red fruit there on the finish. Bottle went fast so only a small pour. Wasn't as complete as other Le Cadeau bottlings I've enjoyed in recent vintages.

Light cherry in color, this wine revealed tart cherry and red fruits on the nose, floral notes, light toast, smoke and more cherry in the mouth feel. The finish was medium and soft.
I've tasted all of the Le Cadeau wines all the way back to the initial 2002 bottling and enjoy them immensely. This wine is well crafted but doesn't quite have all the subtle nuances of each of the Le Cadeau unique bottlings of Cote Est, Rocheux, Diversite, Equinoxe and Merci. Nonetheless, it is still an excellent example of artisan made, Oregon Pinot Noir. This was the first time I've tasted this wine since November, 2013 and it's put on a little weight but otherwise very consistent with previous bottles.

Popped and poured with fettucine bolognese. Aroma has a cherry sense to it, but kind of an in between of red and dark cherry. Also has an earthy, almost barnyard like aroma. Taste is a bit uninteresting, with just some red cherry flavor.
