  • Blind at Paul's: Medium gold-yellow; low nose, old peach, soft apple, cream soda, unbuttered popcorn, lemon brulee; clay, earthy minerals, almost lactic with cheese rind and baking spice, slight nutty; dry, med- acid, med alc., waxy texture. Guessed White CdP, then changed to Bordeaux blanc. The waxy, low acid body should have kept me in the Rhone.
