  • Opened with a bit of worry as a 21yr old wine bought from an auction (and I have a lot more)...bright golden in colour but has a watery rim still.....light nose with some buttery nuttyness and a ripe banana edge...the palate showed some citric flavours and nutty finish with some slight oxidised over tones......left this in a decanter for an hour and opened up much better and lost its sharp edge.
My first move into Burg Chardonnay....I'm looking to explore it more.if I have a deep enough pockets
