Nice Merlot bouquet, dark color, medium body, good tannins slightly coarse, lot of fruit as the merlot and cabernet compete for each sip, probably has gone about as far as it can go, nice complexity but possibly a bit more depth, would drink again, 2011 was not a great vintage but check out NYT article by EA about the joys of "difficult" vintages, as wise Frenchwoman told us - there are no bad vintages in Bordeaux only difficult ones, drank with rack of lamb, Lebanese mousaka, and hummus.

Purple hue that opens with bay leaf, violet and eucalyptus aromas. Black cherry, blueberry and earthy leather flavors dominate the palate while cedar and cola linger on the lengthy finish. Loved how it enhanced the rosemary lamb loin chops.

Agree with my previous note, a bit heavy, balanced, lots of flavor, could use a bit more acid or tannin, drank easily, good fruit, light alcohol, drank with steak, will drink again as I have more bottles.

Suave and elegant with a lovely nose and nuanced palate. A pleasure to drink with a prime rib dinner at Tam O'Shanter.

Classic aromas of graphite, spice and cassis, bone dry on the palate with a pleasing long, mineral tinged finish. Very nicely done. No rush.
