shared this wine with pat at Tukka Restaurant (Grand Cayman Island-East End). was served a complimentary glass. then ordered a bottle to have with dinner. the wine is holding up better than professional reviews would indicate. it is still fresh and lively. the wine stood up moderately well to food that was generously spiced. referring to back label, i taste more tropical than grapefruit. there is still some zing left in the acidity but this seems to be dissipating a bit. i like the wine about as well as the critics. it doesn't quite hit the 90 mark, although i might be slightly more likely to stretch that far if i were purchasing at retail price point rather than restaurant price point. the restaurant experience was an extraordinarily wonderful surprise. did not expect such sophisticated food and attentive service in barefoot country. will be returning soon.

A very serviceable Sauvignon Blanc. Has all the right stuff. Some, but not a lot of that grassy herbaceousness. Pretty golden color. Nice nose of lemon and gooseberry, with a touch of earthy minerality. Has a nice presence in the mouth. Enough acid to keep the palate cleansed. Crisp pineapple and grapefruit with some lemon. Balanced acidity. Drank this at almost room temperature, and it handled it well.

Crisp. Just a little fruit for balance. Short finish.

Light grass and citrus. Nice finish. A very good light bodied sauvignon blanc.

Wine was good. A nice crisp summer wine. Would be good with a light lunch, salad, fruit, cheese, etc.
