  • Deep dark reddish-purple opaque in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of blackberries, dark cherries & currants with overtones of earthy/dusty & some floral notes of violets, dried herbs, anise, cocoa, spices, leather, tobacco, olives, minerals, a hint of cedar in the background. Medium-full to full bodied with a very good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & mulberries with cocoa, spices, herbs, minerals & a touch of oak/vanilla. Lingering smooth finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting but it is close to it peak of development although it should hold there for a few more years. An indicative blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc.

  • 26022023 - 5 ⭐️ luncheon hosted by SKT with 14 bottles of wines & 2 aged cognacs. Our 1st round of 3 bottles tasted blind curated by SKT. Horizontal 2010 from 3 great producers. This is my fav for round 1. Stewed cherries, baked red berries, tobacco & some licorice. Beautifully integrated tannins with very balanced texture & mouthfeel. Elongated intensity with plenty of minerality & some dark spices towards the finish

  • Un vin grandement bonifié avec qq années de plus.
    Cerise noire en ouverture.
Puis, on dénote basilic, noix de pin et un arôme fleural que je n’ai pu identifier.
    Excellent
