Deep ruby red colour. Sweet cherries and black berries with hints of spices on the nose. Taste of sweet cherries, sweet raspberries, sweet blueberries, blackberries and vanilla. Dry finish. An excellent Valpolicella, perfect with pasta, red meat or along with chocolate desserts.

Deep red; plums, smoke & leather on the nose; dark dried fruits, prunes, raisins, hints of sage on the palate; smooth & balanced with full body; medium to long finish with integrated tannins. Now was just the right time to drink.

Rich purple color. Initial aromas of dark chocolate, black cherries and savory spices. Over time it turned to a more dessert sauce aroma. Grippy tannins, full-bodied, and there's a syrupy texture to this wine. The flavors don't taste syrupy, though. Lots of tangy sour cherries, some sweet raspberries and dark chocolate. There's a lovely sage flavor that's really doing it for me. Mocha carries the finish. It's been a while since I've had a Valpolicella, so much so that I've almost forgotten what they taste like. Maybe that's why I like this. Regardless, I think it's in a good place right now. It's not tired at all.
